Vaping Guide in Pubs, Night Clubs and Restaurants

Thanks for checking out this article. If you’re a vaper, chances are you love to hang out and smoke with friends in a nightclub, bars or even restaurants. But do you know if there are any restrictions on vaping in some of these locations? We couldn’t find a definitive answer to this question either, which is why we decided to write about it. After all, aren’t we all just looking for the same thing — an opportunity to enjoy our hobby without having to worry about other people around us? The electronic cigarette (or e-cig) industry has exploded in popularity over the past few years, with more and more smokers turning to vaping as a healthier alternative to traditional cigarettes. As such, the number of places where e-cig users can vape has also grown exponentially. However, not everyone is aware of this fact so let’s take a look at whether or not you can vape indoors.

Vaping etiquette

As of now, there is no blanket ban on vaping in venues. While most places have smoking bans, The UK ban on smoking in enclosed public spaces was introduced in 2007 and since then smoking hasn’t been allowed in indoor concerts, nightclubs and similar venues. However, this does not apply to vaping as vaping doesn’t produce smoke.

Many don’t specifically prohibit e-cigs in their policy. It’s likely that there would be some confusion if you attempted to vape inside and the security refused to let you, but they might just be ignorant of the fact that e-cig users are allowed to vape indoors. If you run into an issue with the bouncer, try explaining what an electronic cigarette is and what it does. If that doesn’t work, then see if there is any signage posted about vaping inside or ask around at your local club where you can vape without any issues. If there are no policies posted about vaping inside, then it’s up to the discretion of the venue owner/manager as to whether or not e-cigs are allowed inside the establishment. The only way to get a definitive answer would be to talk to them directly so make sure you use good manners when trying for clarification.

Vapour, Not Smoke

Vaping is a relatively new technology that uses a battery-powered atomiser to vaporize e-liquid – the liquid form of nicotine. E-cigarettes produce a vapour without the dangerous toxins often found in tobacco smoke, tar or carbon monoxide. E-cigarettes are used as an alternative to smoking tobacco when people have difficulty quitting smoking or don’t want to smoke in public places.

If you’re vaping indoors, follow these guidelines: don’t vape where you can affect the health or safety of non-vapers, and don’t vape where it violates any rules for dining, drinking or smoking in the place you’re visiting.

The Best E-cigs to take on a night out

If you’re going out for the night and don’t want to bring a big bulky device, disposable vapes are what we recommend. They are much easier to carry around and use when you need them, They are also much more discreet than other e-cigs. This is because of their small size, which makes them easy to carry or stash in a bag or purse. And if you have had one too many drinks misplacing your disposable vape will not set you back loads in comparison to other vaping alternatives such as refillable tanks.
